History & Founder
Gina Naomi Baez loved to sing, act and dance. At the age of 12 years old she was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma; a type of cancer. The performing arts was the one thing that kept her going and she yearned to develop a way to use the performing arts to help other children with cancer. While going through treatment at 12 years old, Gina founded Kids Performing Who Kare as well as produced and directed their first theatrical production "ANNIE". Since then, Kids Performing Who Kare has produced 12 musical theater productions and 4 Broadway Concert Benefits in Rockville Centre, New York and Manhattan. To date, Kids Performing Who Kare has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for children with cancer!
